B-BALL INFERNO (Jam Edition)
A downloadable game for Windows
Entry for the January 2023 KO!! Slam Jam game jam
You were cast down to purgatory for basketball crimes. Put your skills to the test and fight your way through hordes of demons, absorb their souls to increase your own power and eventually fight the gatekeeper to escape hell.
Most recent changes:
v1.1.2 (2023-01-17)
- Updated engine to Godot 4.0 beta12
- Fixed enemies not staying stunned when dying
- Significantly reduced game file size (105 MB -> 38 MB)
- Fixed several in-engine warnings
- (This build was tested over two complete runs without a single crash, so let us hope that this is the end of that bug. Let me know if it still happens in v1.1.2)
v1.1.1 (2023-01-16)
- Further fixes to hopefully eliminate the crashing issue for good.
v1.1 (2023-01-16)
- Dash moves in direction of movement rather than mouse (old way toggleable in pause menu).
- Boss door unlocks at level 4 rather than level 5.
- Hopefully reduced the occurence of crashes when entering the boss room and when respawning. Let me know if this still happens.

I absolutely adore the art and idea/theme of this game. Seriously fun to play!
Thanks for playing! I saw your stream and I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I noticed you were struggling with the dashing a bit, so I've changed it to dash towards the direction of movement rather than the cursor (old way is still toggleable in the pause menu).
This game is a total slam dunk!
